 (CSC) and The Women&rsquo\;s Board host Jenniffer Weigel\, Chicago nativ
 e\, author and daughter of well-known sports caster Tim Weigel at a meet
  and greet and book signing for Stay Tuned.&nbsp\; Stay Tuned is Jenniff
 er&rsquo\;s story of finding a new outlook on cancer\, life and spiritua
 lity after her father&rsquo\;s death from cancer.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;&nbsp\;&
 nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nJoin The Cancer Support Center and The Women&rsquo\;s B
 oard on Friday\, November 16th from\n6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Olympia F
 ields Country Club\, 2800 Country Club Drive\, Olympia Fields\, Illinois
  for cocktails\, hors d&rsquo\;oeuvres and a chance to hear Jenniffer sp
 eak about her journey with her father&rsquo\;s cancer experience through
  humor and real-life experiences.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\n&ldquo\;The C
 ancer Support Center supports families like Jenniffer&rsquo\;s every day
  through their cancer journey.&nbsp\; We are honored to have Jenniffer s
 hare her compelling story of finding a new outlook on cancer\, life and 
 spirituality with our audience\,&rdquo\; said Barrett. &nbsp\;&ldquo\;Je
 nniffer&rsquo\;s story mirrors so many stories we hear at The Center&mda
 sh\;stories of heartbreak\, love and humor.&nbsp\; We are thrilled to ho
 st such an inspiring speaker.&rdquo\; &nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nTickets for Frid
 ay night&rsquo\;s private meet and greet and book signing from 6:00pm to
  7:00pm is $75.&nbsp\; Enjoy cocktails\, hors d&rsquo\;oeuvres and live 
 music from 7:00pm to 8:15pm and hear Jenniffer Weigel speak about her li
 fe\, her father&rsquo\;s experience with cancer and her books from 8:30p
 m to 9:00pm for $55.&nbsp\; Ms. Weigel&rsquo\;s books will be available 
 for purchase on Friday night.&nbsp\; Shop the entire evening with artisa
 ns and vendors or join us on Saturday\, November 17th for a luncheon\, m
 usical treat and shopping for $40.&nbsp\; All proceeds raised from this 
 event benefit programs of support for individuals and families affected 
 by cancer.\n&nbsp\;\nThe Cancer Support Center provides programs at no c
 harge for anyone affected by cancer in more than 70 South Chicago commun

  Cancer Support Center\nThe Cancer Support Center in Homewood\, Ill. was
  formed in 1994\, when six Southland women worked together to open a hom
 e-like center (with locations in Homewood and Mokena) for people in more
  than 70 Chicago southland and Northwest Indiana communities.\n&nbsp\;\n
 The Center provides services at no charge to a diverse participant base 
 including cancer patients\, caregivers\, children\, teens and friends of
  the cancer patient. &nbsp\;Having seen their ideas grow to fruition\, s
 everal of the original &ldquo\;seed planters&rdquo\; still serve in day-
 to-day roles at The Cancer Support Center.\n&nbsp\;\nIn addition to supp
 ort groups\, individual and family counseling sessions and The Center&rs
 quo\;s comprehensive Resource Center\, wellness programs are offered on 
 a weekly basis. &nbsp\;Participants enjoy yoga\, qi gong\, meditation\, 
 relaxation\, massage therapy\, Reiki and healing touch. &nbsp\;On averag
 e\, The Center staff responds to more than 300 calls or visits to the Ho
