Shape Up: Which Local Workout Spot is Your Favorite?

Do you have a favorite place in town? Each week Patch lets you join in the discussion and tell all your neighbors about your favorite places.

If you live in a town long enough you develop a go-to list of places where you can always count on a good experience. You take pride in your favorite spots, and tell everyone you know about why they are so great.

With that attitude in mind, we are asking our loyal readers for their picks for the best places in town. Each week we'll ask about your favorite florists, bakeries, auto shops, restaurants and much more. You're the experts and we want to hear what you have to say.

The Evergreen Park Patch Places Directory is the place to go to leave reviews and find information about every business in town. This week we want your picks for the best gyms or workout spots.

So, Which local workout spot do you love most?

  1. To vote, click on the name of the business below and leave a review.
  2. And make sure you show your support by commenting below this article and telling us why you love a certain place.

The business with the most comments and reviews will win the title of "The Most Loved Workout Spot in Evergreen Park."

My favorite place is the exercise park at 88th and Neediest (Yukich field's I believe). l will be out there rain or shine as long as it is not painfully cold out. The variety of outdoor exercise machines for seniors and beginners is great. I just wish someone would repair and update them. The addition of some dip bars near the pull up bars would be nice (along with step blocks of various heights). Nothing like exercising outside in fresh air and sunshine.

Neediest is supposed to say Kedzie. Darn auto spell check.

Thanks for sharing Nolan! I've been around that park before and it's pretty awesome. Anyone else have a favorite place to work out at?

Thank you,
