Man Seen Taking Blue Ray Discs from Walmart
Evergreen Park Police said Bobby G. Silas, 39, of Chicago was seen taking six Blue Ray discs from Walmart, 2500 W. 95th Street, valued at $48, and putting them in a duffel bag without paying.
TUESDAY, NOV. 1
Employee Theft at Walmart
A Walmart employee observed by store security taking a pair of headphones was later charged with retail theft. According to police reports, on Oct. 30 at about 6:30 a.m., security saw Charlene D. Bailey, 32, of Chicago take the headphones, valued at $28.88, and put them in her pocket. Police arrested and charged Bailey with retail theft on Nov. 1 when she arrived for work.
Accused of Kicking Ex-Wife's Car
According to Evergreen Park Police, at about 2:52 p.m. on Nov. 1, Richard Danilos, 41, of Evergreen Park damaged his ex-wife’s 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt by kicking a dent into the driver’s side fender in the 9600 block of South Kedzie Avenue.

Police Arrest Man for Stealing Phone Accessories
At about 11:41 p.m., police arrested Dewane Reid, 24, of Chicago and charged him with retail theft. According to reports, Reid took a package of iPhone screen covers worth $9.96 from Walmart.

Woman Caught Taking Halloween Clothing
According to police, at 7:42 p.m., a woman took two articles of clothing from Walmart valued at $24.94. Police charged at Jilesia B. Dorsey, 18, of Chicago with retail theft.
FRIDAY, OCT. 28
Cops Find Marijuana on a Traffic Stop
Police said after making a traffic stop on a car at 99th Street and Western Avenue, they spotted marijuana. Police said James T. Booker, 21, of Calumet Park was the passenger in a car stopped at 5:08 p.m. Police said they found an empty pack of Newport cigarettes with three hand-rolled blunts inside, in the passenger door pocket where Booker sat. According to reports, the driver was dismissed with traffic charges, but no criminal charges, however Booker, was charged with possession of marijuana. Police said they found 2.8 grams of marijuana in the passenger side of the car.
