Photo Gallery: Mother McAuley Graduation 2011
Family, friends and faculty were proud to celebrate Mother McAuley's Class of 2011 Sunday afternoon.
A sea of white.
That was the view as 379 seniors donning white dresses graduated from Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School Sunday afternoon. Perfect weather for the occasion allowed as many family and friends who desired to witness the event.
Students shed tears as they listened to the honored speaker and head of the Art department, Kathleen Gordon Davis, share memories of watching them turn from McAuley girls to McAuley women.

What a beautiful photo! My class (1987) was one of the few to have to graduate indoors because of weather, so it wasn't quite as picturesque. Congratulations to all of those lucky young women who received a McAuley education.

What a beautiful day. The class of 1995 got stuck inside. I remember rehearsing outside but it rained that night and we ended up in the hot, stuffy gym.
Congrats to all the graduates.

Congratulations on receiving a McAuley education! What a perfect day- it reminds me of our graduation (class of 1997). Such a beautiful tradition...

Congrats to the entire Class of 2011. These are exceptional young women who are totally ready to face the world because of their excellent education at Mother McAuley. Kudos to the Administration, Faculty and Staff for all that you do to prepare our daughters. Kathy Gordon-Davis' speech was one of the many highlights of this beautiful day.

We live half block away and since my daughter was little we have watched the girls in their white dresses. So nervous that we couldn't be outside because of the weather, but we were blessed. It was beautiful--nothing like those girls in their gowns as opposed to the cap and gown thing. Please tell me it isn't true that the Father's Club was selling water. That's pretty awful.

It was a beautiful hot day.. but the emotions of the day made it seem better. I loved my daughter experience at McAuley.. we will miss the school.
