Girls Bowling: Evergreen Park Wins South Suburban Red Conference Title

Sarah Klawitter and Emily Blankenship led the Evergreen Park girls bowling team to the South Suburban Red Conference championship. Bruce Scholtens was named SSC Red Coach of the Year.

 

Sophomore Sarah Klawitter and junior Emily Blankenship powered the Evergreen Park girls bowling team to the South Suburban Red Conference championship.

Klawitter claimed individual medalist honors with a pinfall total of 1,210. Blankenship finished fourth with 1,105. The Mustangs also picked up contributions from sophomore Elan Page (7th, 1,048), junior Abby Urchell (16th), senior Tori Senerchia (12th), senior Kathlyn Loconte, senior Mary Kate Ogorzalek and junior Emma Mayecak during their conference championship run.

Coach Bruce Scholtens was named the SSC Red Coach of the Year.

On the frosh/soph level, Evergreen Park placed second.

The Mustangs were led by sophomore Stacey Pratscher (4th, 953), freshman Eileen Rohan (24th), freshman Beth Townsend (8th, 852), sophomore Leeza Campbell (13th), freshman Nicole Smith (25th) and freshman Daisha Garrison (6th, 858).
