Felony Drug Charges, Pointing an Air Rifle at Traffic: Police Blotter

MONDAY, NOV. 5
Air Rifle Practice
Corey Dixon, 24, of Evergreen Park, was charged with disorderly conduct. Police say that around 11:42 a.m. he was standing outside his apartment in the 9800 block of Pulaski Road and aiming an Air Soft Rifle at passing cars. A large police response was dispatched to the area after the initial report of a man with a rifle aiming at cars. The air gun was recovered at the scene and he told officers that he was just practicing, police said.
Katrina Eddy, 24, of Chicago, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. She was stopped at 4:16 p.m. in the 8700 block of Kedzie after driving aimlessly around the Walgreens parking lot, police said. When asked if she had anything illegal she produced four pills of suboxone and one Xanax, police said.
SATURDAY, NOV. 3
Justin Fox, 33, of Chicago, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. He was stopped at 4:45 p.m. in the 9900 block of Western Avenue for not wearing a seat belt, police said. He was found to have no insurance and was in possession of .7 grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia, police said.
