Crack Cocaine, Heroin and 114 Pills: Police Blotter
Evergreen Park police reports, Feb. 20.
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 20
James N. Hooker, 25, of Evergreen Park was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Hooker was stopped for a traffic violation at 10:06 p.m. at 87th Street and Kedzie. Officers discovered three baggies of crack cocaine weighing .8 grams in his sweater pocket, police said.
Elliot Warner, 57, of Chicago was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. At 7:47 p.m. Warner was in the 8700 block of Rockwell when an officer ran his plates after noticing a burned-out headlight, police said. It was discovered the registration belonged to another vehicle, police said. Police found a total of 26 baggies of heroin weighing a combined 10.5 grams in his shirt and underwear, police said.
Prescription Pill Arrest
At 9:54 p.m. a car driven by Erin J. Gibbs, 37, of Omaha, Neb. was stopped in the 9500 block of Richmond for failure to display a state plate, police said. Officers smelled burnt cannabis in the vehicle and conducted a search, police said. Inside Gibbs' purse they found 88 pills of alprazolam, 25 pills of clonazepan and one pill of hydrocodone, police said. Gibbs was charged with three counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, improper registration, driving with no insurance and no valid registration, police said. The car's passenger, Anthony D. Gill, 19, of Omaha, Neb. was charged with possession of marijuana, police said.
