The Evergreen Park High School 2012 graduating class has enjoying being the first, class Valedictorian Lauren Schulte points out. The first to have William Sanderson as their principal and Dr. M. Elizabeth Hart, formerly the principal, as their Superintendent for all four years. This year's class was the first to be in the Guinness book of world records--along with several other schools across the country-- for the most people doing Jumping jacks for a 24-hour period.

Sanderson adds that to date, this year’s graduating class received over $6.3 million in scholarship money.

So weather it being the first in their families to serve in the Armed Forces or First to go to college, all are looking at a bright future ahead for them.

After the hour long ceremony, students moved their tassels and with hugs and cheers, moved into the next chapter of their lives.
